Well, hello. I've been on and off of the spark site since, at least, 2010. Losing a little here, gaining alot there. I think I started off at 173lbs as my heaviest weight ever (other than pregnancy, 9 months, child 3 I was 175). Now, today I sit here at 187lbs and this number is not even my highest!! I have topped out at times at 196! I may as well say I weigh 200lbs. It is usually kind of hard for me to keep my weight in the 180's. I neeeed to make this change for the better. I'm used to being in shape. I like runnng and high intesity workouts, but now it is hard to do those things. Geesh!

Spark is an awesome site, but what I've figured out is that i'm inconsistent. No tool in the world can help without consistency. So I'm determined this time to remain committed. I must.

My Birthday is 2/13/14, and today is 2/12. Since a few weeks before christmas I started making small changes. I must say, i've gotten better. I am now eating many more fruits and veggies and a lot less meat. I do, however, have to get my sweet tooth under control. Though I have noticed with the more vegetables i eat, the less crap I crave.

So here I go again. I'd love to connect with others on their journeys. God Bless!

My Goals:
LTG: To Weigh 145 or 38-40inch hip, 28 inch waist, toned all over.

2 week goal: Wrkout min 3 days/wk; finish 21 min walk video easily; meal prep success.

1 month goal - Started running outside again

My Program:
Sample progm below:

Morning - Water, Pray, 15 min cardio, 5 min weights, Breakfast

Noon - 10 min walk, lunch

Evening - 15 min cardio, 15 min weights, healthy dinner - no carb, mostly veggie

Personal Information:
Single mother of 3 beautiful preteens! Loving daughter and good family member and God lover and fearer! I'm a HR Mgr by day and an entrepreneur by night. I manage a website selling towel and diaper cakes, working on a book, clothing line and non profit to help kids that have lost their parents to violent crimes..either through death or long term incarceration.
I reside in Indianapolis, IN and am just trying to "make it do what it do" in life! Lol!

Other Information:
I want to be less exhausted. So i'll be taking Iron suppements until I figure out good foods to eat more of for iron other than beef. I'd like to be well on my road to vegan by the end of the year.

    Hey! Thanks for coming by my page and the congrats!

    The 30 Day Shred is a circuit training workout DVD from Jillian Michaels (the lady trainer on the Biggest Loser). It has three levels of increasingly intense workouts, and ideally you do 10 days on each level. Some people do it 30 days straight. Others, like myself, do it 5-6 times a week. Each level is about 27 minutes, including warmups and cool downs. Each circuit has 3 minutes of strength training, 2 minutes of cardio, and 1 minute of abs. I got the dvd from Walmart for $9 and subsequently bought all her other workouts. She's tough, but she gets results. We also have a team on Sparkpeople. You can see previews of the dvd either at or youtube.
