Welcome I'm pleased you have chosen to share your journey with us all. If you haven't already you may want to look at joining some of the teams that may be interesting to you. Joining a team helps to bring you together with others who share your interests which helps with accountability, motivation, and support.

Use the site daily and be consistent with your food tracking and exercise. Read the articles for information. Read member blogs for motivation and encouragement.

This is a fabulous site and if you rely on it daily and remain consistent, you will achieve your goals.

    Good luck!

    Hello!
Welcome to SP! Wow, Alaska! What an interesting state to live in, I am sure.
You will find everything you need here on SP to be a healthier you. One way to stay motivated is to participate on your Spark Teams. Plus, it's a good way to make new friends who will help keep you accountable.
Just remember take it one day/ one step at a time. Even a few minutes of exercise is better than none.
Best of luck to you. You can do it!

Welcome to SP! A lot of us have had the experience of repeated false starts before we finally got a proper start at the healthier lifestyle. Here's my main suggestion for your success.....set a few simple goals...sounds like those dogs can be a good part of the plan...perhaps one of your goals would be to spend 10 minutes playing with them each day, another simple goal might be to listen to some uplifting music each day while dancing about to combat the depression of the long dark days...as you tick each day off you will gain confidence in how much you really can do...just because you've had false starts before doesn't mean you won't do better this time. You have the support of this huge community and I know you can do it!
