I'm a military wife...or at least was a military husband retired about a year ago. We have lived from coast to coast to include a bit in Panama. We decided that San Antonio would be our last stop. I've always been a yo-yo when it came to my weight, but this is the heaviest I've ever been. I actually started a diet quite by accident. I got sick in March and lost 6 pounds in a week. Not the healthiest way to lose weight, but I figured that I shouldn't waste it. Since then, I have lost 13 pounds. My goal is 25 pounds more before my 41st birthday...5 months from now.

My Goals:
My stop donating clothes that I don't fit anymore. I want to wear them!

To enjoy exercise & working out.

To fit in my favorite little black dress. I love that dress!

To feel comfortable in everything I wear & not changing a dozen times before putting on the same thing I always wear.

To look like a "knockout" for my brother-in-law's wedding & my daughter's high school graduation in 2013.

My Program:

Personal Information:
I am a military wife that has lived from coast to coast and a little time in Panama. I've been married for 22 years. My husband & I decided that San Antonio, TX would be the place to retire. I have 3 beautiful kids (20, 17, & 12).
I love working on projects around the house. The joke in our household is that mom has the power tools. I even designed & built my daughter's desk from scratch. I enjoy taking pictures, especially of my kids & their life events.

Thank you for all your support! I saw your feed about falling off the wagon. I just wanted to tell you that the wagon is ready and waiting for you Monday morning, and that I will be riding while looking for a seat belt, you are welcome to join me in the front! emoticon

You are so great, keep up the hard work! emoticon

Thanks for the comment on my blog. It is nice to know that I'm not the only one in my situation. Having hubby far away is tough but it is comforting knowing other families have already survived the same thing!

Thanks for your words of encouragement - and WAY TO GO on the soda!!!!

Dr. Pepper *sigh* I will miss it, but I don't know if it will ever taste the same. I used to be able to knock out a 12 pack pretty quickly.

I feel like I have so much more energy without it! I can't even imagine what my body is thinking, lol!

Keep up the great work! :)
