All my life I have only exercised and lost weight for vanity. This time on SparkPeople (and I have been here 5 times before as Coeuraimant and Coeuraimant2 as well as WitchyGodmother and WitchyG and AllieCanRun) I am offering up the journey and praying for help every day that I can heal my body and love it as God loves me. I hid as OfferingItUp but once I was back to stay and I have taken the vow to keep this account permanently I was ready to stop hiding behind a profile name and be me.

I have slowly stripped away everything that was for vanity sake and looked at what was left. I love it, I love eating what makes my body feel good, I love the exercises that are fun for me and I love what I see in the mirror.

Thank you for your input on my “honest question” blog
There’s a lot of wisdom here among Sparkers
Companies would do well to survey and listen to US!.
I'm with you - comfort is what I look for now.
That and finding what fits well. Just wish they made it easier for us to FIND what fits

Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment on my “Hope” blog.
DH & I know we have been very fortunate, especially to have found each other all those years ago.
I await the day that the world returns to normal and I can cook that turkey for family.
Be sure I WILL post a photo of that.

Thank you for your comment on my maintenance anniversary blog
While I MIGHT have been able to lose the weight on my own, I NEVER could have maintained it without Spark and the support of the people here. Everyone I’ve met has contributed in some way to my success.
People often confuse "vanity sizing" with "sizing creep" Vanity sizing has always been with us. As a doctor told me 50 years ago, if you pay $2,000 for a dress, they will call it a size 2.
Sizing creep is the insidious adding of inches to each size by all manufacturers in all price ranges. That's why we now need size zero. By the measurements, it used to be a size 6-8.

Thank you for your comment on my blog.
I was feeling a little down reimagining the holidays in our new normal.
Then breaking my glasses and wearing an old prescription pair has reduced my online sparking time. But putting the feelings into words really did help. New glasses will be ready next week. I'm so sorry for the loss of your MIL.
All we can do is focus on health and safety, encourage others to do the same and plan for better times in 2021.
