The momentum of progress is unstoppable.

-Jonathan Lockwood Huie

I've always had this constant tug of war with my weight. I take control and then I give it away. I am now refusing to give in . I don't have many pictures to share from the past because I wouldn't allow my picture to be taken. I didn't have courage to have that visual looking back at me. I didn't like myself very much then. BUT NOW.....
I know I have what it takes to walk forward, step by step to a healthier me.
A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. John 13:34

My Goals:
My goal is to lose 30 # by August 2011.

To stop allowing food to be such a big part of my me.

To stay focused on my desire to feel healthier and to drop the weight.

My Program:
I am eating a low fat, moderate protein and complex carb diet. Low sodium.

No caffeine.

Daily intake 1000-1300 calories per day.

Drink mimium of 8 glasses of water daily.

Exerise at least 30 minutes/day 5 times/week.

Personal Information:
Last year I went from a size 16 dress size down to a size 6/8 under the guidance of a weight loss center. I did great, reached my goal and felt a new energy that I had not had in a very long time. I reached the maintenance part of my program and slowly starting incorporating more carbs in my diet. Well this gave me the idea that I could eat more junk food. I slowly started to gain some of the weight back. I got back on my plan, but found myself grazing at night. The crazy thing about this is that I knew my caloric intake was increasing, but I would do it anyway. I told myself, "it's okay, just get back on plan tomorrow".

I have since gained back 40 #. Yuck! I feel the all to familiar belly bloat and the "I feel fat" feeling.

I have reestablished my goals beginning today. I don't want to get back to a weight in the 140's. I DON'T WANT the weight back.

Other Information:
Keep God first. The rest will follow.
