Sometimes it’s hard to stay on track in this battle to lose weight. I know I’m not alone when I say I’m starting over again. I’ve been here many times before declaring my goals, committing to a regiment of a healthier lifestyle for eating an exercise. I sound like a broken record over and over and over again. Yet here I am making these promises to myself.

I guess the positive thing about it is I’m still here to make the promise, to give it another shot, to succeed at what I failed to do time and time again. I know many of you have the same testament; that’s why we’re here to give it another go. So with that in mind, I’m leaving the past in the past; I can’t undo what’s done; but I can do better than I did yesterday; step by step, one day at a time.

From January 4, 2017 – February 15, 2017

Week One:
Cut back on soft drinks
Exercise for 30 minutes 3 days/week

Cut back on soft drinks 2 per week
Exercise 30 minutes 3 days/week

Week 3:
Soft Drink safe from Pepsi to Pepsi Max
Exercise 45 minutes 3 days/week
Add strength training

Week 4:

Exercise 45 minutes 3 days/week
Strength train

    JuLynn, hi. thanks for commenting on my blog yesterday. We have so much in common. I'm lazy too--although your comment helped me NOT hit that snooze alarm this AM. I just don't like exercise and so I put it off all the time. But if you're interested read my blog today about Farrah's Story and then go watch the show the next time they run it. Being a breast cancer survivor, I think you will bring more away from her story than even I did. But we have to do everything we can to take care of ourselves.

    I'll check in on you and thanks for encouraging me yesterday!


    P.S. My brother is a US Marine Master Gunnery Sargeant-he's been in the Corps for 20 years and my sister was in the US Navy for 23 years (not sure of her rank though)!
