This is not my first time around coming back to spark people, but it has helped me in the past so I figured it was worth a try agian.

After losing about 20 pounds in 2011, coming home from college for the summer I maintained it and as soon as I went back to school in the fall I gained it back slowly. I started dating my now boyfriend in June of 2011, some things happened and we had to stay apart with very little physical contact throughout my senior year of college. Without a whole lot of motivation I was not able to lose any more weight and also even gained quite a few pounds. After graduation and not being able to find a permanent teaching job, I have found myself slightly depressed and I am contributing that to my lack of motivation. Having to work a ton of hours at several jobs has left me tired, unmotivated, and lack luster when it comes to working out. Over the summer I did purchase the Zumba dvd kit and wish I could use it more.

With the school year coming to an end, I substitute teach right now till I find a teaching job, and my summer job as a lifeguard coming up I purchased a year membership at a local gym back in March. I have been going between 1 and 3 days a week but wish I had more motivation to go more often, more like 5 or 6 days. I just spent a few days scouring pinterest for tons of exercises and have laid out a workout plan I can follow doing arms and abs one day, legs and abs another day, and butt and abs another day plus cardio everyday.

I am turning to sparkpeople again to find the motivation to keep going and finally be happy with myself. I need a serious butt kicking!

I welcome every comment, motivation, and advice I can get!

Thank you for stopping by my blog. Greek Yogurt in my opinion doesn't taste like curdled spoiled milk. Some others have added Splenda or Equal but I don't think it needs it. My son added sugar free jam to his along with a packet of Equal. Someone mentioned adding nuts or granola. I suppose you can dress it up the way you want. I only ate half the 6 oz container on my first try but after that it tasted like fruit pudding and before I knew it I ate the entire container. Give it a try, it's good for you!

Hello, you visited my blog yesterday and when I went to meet you at your page, I see that you mention being 10.5 years old when problems started. You also mentioned that your Mom's diagnosis was 9 years ago, and if you are 20, then you would have been about 11. Those two events, at 10.5 and 11 just might be related! I hope you can explore how a 10.5year old can be affected by a parent's bad news and see if it helps you unlock any residual sadness expressing itself as an eating problem. There are so many things that can contribute to being overweight, I'm sure you know it would be too easy for it to be just one thing. But if it helps . . . emoticon

Thanks for the comment and letting me know I'm not the only one who has to play mind games to trick myself into working harder...
