Update 3/17/19 - As I am getting older I'm appreciating that I have the ability to do many things that others cannot. I will honor this by taking care of myself to the best of my ability. I will thank God everyday for my life and appreciate what He has given me.

Lost 30 - 35 in previous years but having trouble loosing the last 10. It is hard when you are already being very careful with what you are eating and exercising. I really don't want to have to alter my life style too much more. I want to be able to still enjoy life.

My Goals:
2019 Goals - Get to the low 120s and stay there. Get strong along the way.


My Program:
I will try to make every meal 50% vegtables. I totally love carbs but need to reduce them. Try to keep calories to the low end of my range (1200) and carbs below 100 per day.Using the small plates for meals, limiting portion size. Track everything and exercise everyday.

Exercise every day for at least 30 minutes. This is needed for my slow metabolism and also for heart health. Incorporating strength training 3X per week along with cardio. Using circuit training DVD's, free weights, kettlebell or yoga. Cardio exercise is walking or Zumba.



Personal Information:
Married mother of 3, youngest is 22. I had a heart attack at the age of 47. This was because earlier in my life I was a junk food addict and even though I had improved my eating and lost weight I had high cholesterol still and a buildup of plaque in my arteries. I'm now on medication and exercising to keep from having another one. Thank God I didn't have any heart damage. It was definitely a wakeup call.


Other Information:
Age 40 shattered left leg (14 fractures).

Age 47 heart attack

Age 50 Ran for 1 mile (it's never too late to start!)
