The Not-So-Little Engine Keeps Puffing
Never say "I worked too hard to get this off, and I'm never gaining it back." Because *stuff* happens and you don't even realize how you gained those 90 pounds back. You don't care about it, until you see yourself in the mirror.
Sometimes it will take five, six years. If you're lucky, it won't take that long.
So, here goes another try... I *think* I'm finally in the right frame of mind again. Lots has changed in five years.

Looks like most (all?) of the friends I made at SP haven't been around here lately either. I hope they are ok.

My Goals:
Keep it simple, 1 pound a week. Plan to lose the 90 within two years.
My Program:
I'm doing Weight Watchers using the materials and lessons learned from meetings, even though I'm no longer going. By tracking what I eat, it keeps me in line. I am going to get back into treadmilling, walking, and my stationary bike, as well as the many dvds I've collected.
Regarding exercise, I need to start fresh and slow. At this point, anything is better than what I've been doing.
Personal Information:
I live in New Jersey, but consider myself a NYer. I'm 47 years old. Married with two sons.
Other Information:
DON'T QUIT
Don't quit when the tide is lowest,
For it's just about to turn.
Don't quit over doubts and questions,
For there's something you may learn.
Don't quit when the night is darkest,
For it's just a while til dawn.
Don't quit when you've run the farthest,
For the race is almost won.
Don't quit when the hill is steepest,
For your goal is almost nigh.
Don't quit, for you're not a failure,
Until you fail to try.

The victory is yours, if only you choose, to do what is right, so that you can lose!
Just keep moving ahead, doing things to keep you fit, not allowing distractions to keep you from it.
Don't focus on things, that will hold you back, just shove them aside, to keep you on track!
If you look back, and see what brought you down, you will find what it is, that can turn around!
Keep your heart, and mind focused on to your goal, there is plenty of stuff, that is good for your soul!
Be happy with the steps, that you take every day; don't get stuck in the traps, that will pull you down out and away!
I thank you for your encouragement, it means much to me! Keep moving forward, and soon you will be free!
