I have been overweight my whole life and decided it was time for a change when 10 other people at worked talked me into joining their biggest loser challenge. I know it is going to be a long road, and I am so ready for it! This is my new lifestyle not a diet!
(7/14/09)The weight just keeps coming off.....some weeks its only a pound or 1/2 a pound, but other weeks it is much more. I have had my struggles just like everyone else, but I don't beat myself up about it and I just continue on. I still have a lot more weight to lose, but I feel better than I have in my own skin in a really long time.
(9/9/09) Okay so the last month and a half has been a real struggle for me. I didn't realize how little weight I have lost in the past month and a half until I just looked back on my weigh in's on here. From where I started at on August 1st until today I have only lost 6 pounds. I have had about 3 of the past 6 weeks where I have gained weight and then managed to lose it the following week so there really have been ups and downs. I need to kick it into gear or I will never reach my goals. Everyone on SP has been wonderful and I appreciate all of the encouragement and kind words. SP really helps keep be going on my journey to being reaching my goals. I'm really not sure what happened to my motivation from my update above on July 14th, but I need to find that motivation again and get back into a routine of going to the gym!!
12/14/09: I have had some ups and down since my last note in here 3 months ago. I find myself struggling again. I have to keep my head up though...NEVER give up, and just keep on keeping on!!!!
4-26-13: I am back after gaining back 60 of the pounds that I had originally lost. I am mortified and absolutely miserable. I am taking this one day at a time! I got this! :)

My Goals:
Yay I accomplished my first goal which was to get under 300 lbs!!!!

My Program:
I have been drinking lots of water. I cut out the pop and sweets. I have added lots of fruits, veggies, and lean meats to my diet. I am making better choices when it comes to food and eating less. I also joined a gym and thats when I really noticed the weight loss kick in. I have received lots of tips from a couple of the trainers at the gym.

Personal Information:
I just want to be happy and healthy!!! This is a change for me, my family, and my life!!
