Hi! I'm a 50-something housewife that's been struggling with gaining and losing the same 5 lbs for quite sometime. Used to be very active and thinner in the good ole days but have had a few setbacks, first, with neck problems, and now my feet, ugh. Hi! I'm a 50-something housewife that's been struggling with gaining and losing the same 5 lbs for quite sometime. Used to be very active and thinner in the good ole days but have had a few setbacks, first, with neck problems, and now my feet, ugh. For the past 7 years I've really gotten into hiking, and I highly recommend it. I've also been a zumba addict for 3 years. But the weight keeps creeping up on me. The past 5 months I've had to be very sedentary due to a broken toe which developed into a mean case of plantar fasciitis, so I'm getting flabby and gaining weight. So glad I found this site! Hope it helps me to count my calories better and get back on my feet again soon.

My Goals:
To be able to run around with my granddaughter again. Longer term: hike El Cajon Mtn!

My Program:
 Rest and elevate foot and ice it, then going to try swimming, then walking, and hopefully hiking.
