H there all: I am Lee from FL aka mom1014. I am very impressed with how motivational spark people can be. My plans are to use determination and slow and easy does the job to achieve my weight loss and fitness goals
I am an 82 year old widow, retired, with two grown sons and several stepsons. They are all the lights of my life. I have one granddaughter, who of course is spoiled rotten (by all of us). I have two lovely daughters in law.
Ah but that's not all: My wonderful Great Grandson Born on April 3, 2013. What joy I've been blessed with!!
Besides my 15 years plus of Hospice work as a Vigil Volunteer, ( I retired from Hospice work just short of 16 years of service) I write. It is easier to write a book than to get it published but I enjoy it. I was a media buyer and copywriter for Mohawk Airlines (dating myself) in my other life. I also wrote commercials for radio and TV.
Although my progress was slow, I reached my first goal about 2010. Since then I reached my second goal, Sept 1 2013. Hope I never stop setting healthy goals. Now trying to stay below goal and continue healthy habits.
I must say that I have been thoroughly enjoying my time in SP, and am constantly learning. Good luck to my fellow travelers in this fitness and weight loss journey!
By the way instead of losing 30 lbs that I had planned, I not only kept to off during maintenance I slowly lost an additional 30 lbs. That's it and I have maintained. Thank you Spark People.
We all can do it if we focus and commit!

My Goals:
I reached my initial goal.
Found I lost another inch in height.
So I will lose more to be healthy. Proud to say I am below my original goal. Heading on down slowly!
UPDATE: I reached that goal too about a month ago! Now I plan to add a bit of wiggle room and stay in range.
I don't exclude having other Lifestyle Changes to build upon my weight loss!
I. Will keep weighing in.
2. I will keep eating healthy.
3. I keep tracking my food and exercise, daily.
My Program:
Someone on my favorite site mentioned "one day at a time". I agree. Small goals DO get you there.
I plan to stick to it even after I win!
Re: the above. I will still always be a work in progress.
