emoticon for joining the "Writers' Support Group" team. I wish you much success with your weight loss. Take things one healthy meal, one exercise, one positive day at a time and always believe in yourself that you can do this, one pound at a time. emoticon -- Lou

Hi! Thanks for being my spark friend! With what I'm doing, Leslie Sansone's workouts, I am not really watching what I eat per-say. She says to just walk with her and even if it's just the 1 mile, that's 1 mile more than you did before. So I'm just working on doing a mile every day, which is just 15 minutes. I have 15 min to work on myself no matter what. I have been "watching" what I eat only in the sense that I think about it first. Like yesterday for example. I made some tuna fish (has a lot of protein in it). I made it with mayo but only used enough to get it moist and yummy, not tons and tons. And I put them on crackers instead of 2 pieces of the white bread we have. I loaded each cracker up and YUM! And then I thought about it, instead of eating the whole thing of crackers with it, i loaded each one up and I think it ended up being about 10 crackers. Also I'm working on drinking more water. I am NOT a water drinker. So I've been making crystal light, which has no sugar (I am a diabetic) and very very few calories. So it's better than just fruit juice. And junk food wise, maybe it's just because we don't have a lot of money for that right now, but I haven't had any in a while. I am not going to deny myself that if I'm craving chocolate, but I might pick one that has less calories than the other, like pick my 2 favorite ones and see which of the 2 are better. I had a bad chocolate craving the other day, but couldn't make it to the store. Thank goodness I had some sugar free chocolate pudding in the cupboard! Oh that was soooo yummy and I didn't feel so "bad" because it wasn't as bad as SOME other things I could have eaten.
