11/5/11 - On track again... Obviously, I have struggled with some consistency here! I have made no real progress and if you read on, you will see a pattern of starting and stopping and no results! I have been back on track for a short while now and I am feeling stronger and more confident in myself these days and that helps a lot! I am determined to get this weight off! I still have a lot of life left in me... :-)

5/19/11 UPDATE: Well I have been thru a lot in the past year. Bankruptcy, foreclosure, moving, divorce. And thru it all I have lost a bit, but as always struggled with consistency. After my marriage, my self-esteem was (is) in the toilet. That is now one of the things I am going to focus on healing.... I am worth it! And the binge eating I have struggled with for so many years seems to be better now... haven't binged in months! So, that in itself is a great improvement. Time to focus on me so that I can be better for myself and all of those around me!

STARTING OVER AGAIN, July 21, 2010. I have been totally off program and been binge eating for the past few months causing me to gain back much of what I had lost. No activity and stuffing my face is not good to me!!! I will not give up though. I also currently have an injury that has stopped me from working out. Can't wait to add that back in!


I am a 40 something wife & mom of 3. I would like to be fit and healthy and feel attractive again! Being overweight is affecting so much more than how I look. It is affecting the way I feel about myself and therefore affecting my relationships with the people around me. It is affecting my marriage. It is affecting my heath. It is affecting my sleep and my emotions.

I have been in a cycle of losing and gaining (mostly gaining) and have been sabotaging myself over and over for years. I am tired of thinking about this weight. I'm tired of suffering with this weight and everything that goes along with it.

My goal is to increase muscle mass and decrease body fat - ultimately reaching my goal weight/size.

I am using the food tracker and trying to get a minimum 30 minutes of exercise 6 days per week.
