You could never give me too much information! I have always maintained that there's a common thread which runs through all of my various painful ailments. I fit the lupus face flushes all the time with a deep red (not a rash really) that covers most of my face....for no reason, the joint pain, the acute fatigue........
I went to a rheumatologist who lost interest in my case after all the tests he ran didn't indicate rheumatoid arthritis or Lupus. He empathized with my pain....but said he couldn't do anything for me. He was the last in a long line of doctors who couldn't help me. That's when I went into a pain mgmt. program. I'm sick of all the drugs, the invasive injections and procedures, etc. But the bottom line is....I am having so much pain and fatigue, that I have to do Something!.

Anyway...thanks for the info. Good luck with your gall bladder surgery. I had it done about 14 years wasn't a big deal. I had it done lapariscopally...only spent one night in the hospital. No complications and a quick recovery. I wish you the same.

    Be well and big hugs.

PS. thanks for looking at my jewelry. I had hoped to start a side business (I've sold many, many pieces over the past few years), I enjoy designing and then actually making the pieces.....but now, my hands hurt so much......... the future is uncertain.

One last question. Do/did you get the 'butterfly' rach associated with Lupus? The whole thing is crazy-making. But the bottom line is - I'm in pain, and I feel 'sick' most of the time. emoticon

    Hi MaryLou!
It's been a while....and I hope you're well. Any repurcussions from Maggie's trip to the pet 'advisor'? I thought that was such a hoot.....but I'm sure some people who really have a gift for interacting with animals.

I have a question for you. I see from your home page that you suffer from Lupus. May I ask how it manifests itself in your body....does it have specific symptoms? And, especially, how hard was it to diagnose?

I ask because I'm seeking a common cause for all of my separate, and painful, ailments. I fit the Lupus profile...but the blood tests say otherwise. I'd love to get your input about your experiences with Lupus.
    Many thanks.....and be well, friend.

We had a long and hard drive home on Sun. & Mon. Rather tired today and not getting much done but this too shall pass. Trying to catch up with everyone.

Hope you have a great week and keep up the great weight loss!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon
