Spark member off and on since 2004/2005 (May be off on the year but I remember paying monthly for the service before there was ever a free SparkPeople). Over the years I’ve tried different apps and other tools and always come back to SparkPeople!
Trying to not end up relying on pharmaceuticals as I get older (early 40s now). We are part of a Organic CSA and we do our best to eat foods from our local farms and rarely eat prepackaged or processed foods. My husband has T1 Juvi Diabetes and we’ve always tried to keep “real foods” around and for the most part there really isn’t any “junk food” in our house (tortilla chips for home made salsa). However I still simply eat too much. Could lose about 70 lbs but I’m not trying to make that my focus. I want long term health.
Hobbies: canning and preserving food (drying, fermenting; I like it all), reading (I could sit on my couch with Star Trek novels for days 🤓) and of course cooking and eating!

Fitness Minutes: 360

My Goals:
Short Term: Fit comfortably in the dress for my sister's wedding in 9/2019. It currently fits but I definitely don't feel comfortable.
Long Term: Stay off the pharmaceuticals as long as possible.


My Program:
Supplements: Isotonix Vitamins, OPC-3, Trim Cafe and MochaTonix
Food: Whole foods from local farms - Member of a local Organic CSA. I try to can, dry and ferment as much of our CSA as possible to last us all year so the summers are busy with processing veggies and fruit.
Exercise: Walking and weekly trips to the farm where I pick a lot of our veggies (that's exercise right?!?)



Personal Information:
Married to the love of my life for 21 years and owned by three dogs; (2) eight year old Dorgis (Dachshund/ Corgi mixes) and a 15 year old Cockapoo (cocker spaniel/ poodle mix- she gets to go with me to work). I work in an office setting and probably don't move near as much as I should. Most of my social life revolves around our local Catholic Parish.
