Live in northeastern Montana.

One of my Spark friends had this on his status (4/28/2016) -- THENEWMICHAEL "When it comes to measuring progress, the mirror is a better instrument than the scale."
WOW!!! That is something we all need to take to heart!

We all have a whoops day. Its what you do the day after that counts... Kaliswalker

"I'd rather cheat once a month than fall off the bandwagon and overeat everyday!" - Lynz on her Spark Montana blog

Baby steps. Leaping in wears you out. Then you quit. ~Indygirl

JOHAL52 is still in a holding pattern over life. But that's okay--sometimes holding patterns can lead to growth--it's up to me :) -- Her status for 2Aug11 -- A small comment that speaks volumes.

CATINCJ Never set your goals at some else's pace or evaluate your performance by someone else's standards. Added 2May13 from her feed that day.

My Goals:
To exercise more, get more toned, and get to a healthier weight. I would like to stave off any joint problems in legs and hips.

Another goal which I have is to get rid of a lot of the "stuff" I possess, way more than I need to have.

My Program:
Portion Control - although I haven't been real successful in doing this, I am more aware of what portions are and try to stick with them most of the time.

I use the nutrition tracker and follow no particular weight loss diet, just try to get more freggies, less carbs and fat. I have been customizing the "my favorites" list to include the foods I use the most. I have been also making use of the exercise tracker, getting at least 10 minutes of cardio every day. I try to do some strength trainig 3 days a week.

Personal Information:
I live in Northeastern Montana. I work more than full time at a desk job. I spend way too much time on the computer...

Jan, 2016 -- All of this still holds true.

Other Information:
Am a cat person. Like to knit, sew, quilt, garden -- but don't seem to get much of them done.

2/24/2013 -- Several fiber craft people have been meeting during lunch hour once a week to work on projects, visit, and show off our latest projects. We also share techniques when someone has a problem with their project. Some are also starting into spinning using drop spindles.

emoticon We just have to plant five rows of peas:
Planning. And most of all -

emoticon Include 3 rows of squash:
    Squash negativity.
    Squash dieting.
    Squash deprivation.

emoticon Add 5 rows of lettuce:
    Let us be positive.
    Let us take responsibility.
    Let us be in control.
    Let us reward our accomplishments.
    Let us be resilient.

emoticon No garden is complete without turnips:
    Turn up the positive attitude.
    Turn up with a smile.
    Turn up with new ideas.
    Turn up with real determination.
    Turn up with success.

emoticon May YOUR garden flourish. emoticon

*Have really been enjoying planting these last few days! It's much nicer when there aren't so many other things wanting my attention! Enjoy the weekend!
