Introduction Text I am a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. I was the full time caregiver to my hubby who has Lewy Body Dementia. Joseph is now in a VA nursing home down near Fort Lews. I do not get to see him too often as it is 150 miles round trip.i don't get out much and have a hard time exercizing. I have had both knees replaced but one did not heal properly as it got a MRSA infection in it. I was in a serious car accident in April 2015. I was rearended by a lady on her phone. I was stopped at red light and she hit me at full speed so hard that her small Impala shoved my van over ten feet with my foot jammed on the brake. It sprained my foot and ankle! I also got a ligament tear in right shoulder and three broken vertebrae in my neck. I just recently got out of the hard neck brace. I have to wear a soft collar when in a vehicle. The doc said I should consider wearing it Ina car for rest of my life as another accident could cause worse damage! I had pretty much maintained my weight until the accident and then I could do nothing so I put on about 20-25 pounds. So here I am back at SparkPeople to get those off and maybe even the rest of what I need to do!
