Introduction Text I'm a 53 years old and need to lose 50 pounds in one year. Six months ago i found out I have high blood pressure and now have to take medication. Two months later I found out I had stage 0 breast cancer. I had surgery to remove it on 12/11/14. Now I'm on the road to get healthy. I have three grown children. My youngest son came home from college and announced he is engaged and getting married in 2015. Now I have another goal, to be fit enough to be comfortable to be seen in pictures. My oldest son is starting a new career in construction. My daughter is in her final year in college for teaching. Always something to worry about with three "grown" children and a husband of 31 years. 6/28/2015 I weighed 166 for the wedding. 9/24/2018 I gained back the 30 lbs I lost. I'm back to try again. I want to lose 50 lbs by April 2019, my 35th anniversary. I want a beach vacation.

I want to weigh under 140. I want to lose enough weight to get off high blood pressure medicine. I want to wear clothes I really like, not clothes that hide my body.

Treadmill 1 hours a day building speed as I get stronger. DVDs at home 3 times a week. Workout a total of no less than 1 hours a day.

I'm from Iowa, so it's possible to get a tan and frostbite in the same week. It's difficult to workout outside, so I have a treadmill. I start out with good intentions, but I quickly get bored!
