May the spirits in the wind guide you!

This wonderful winter my goal is to hit near the 300 mark. I will stop at nothing to achieve it. I hope everyone hits their goals this fall. Lets do it together!

It is my goal to lose weight and get a job in the California National Guard. For a better me and to help out the best I can and rebuild a Native American Tribe from the ground up. I hope to move to Florida after I lose my weight. I got goals and they are huge, nothing will stop me now.

My Goals are,

1) Lose at least 8 lbs a month

2) Run 3 Miles without stopping

3) To get into the California National Guard (Go Career)

4) Become a Warrant Officer in the California National Guard

5) Move to Florida and help rebuild Native American Tribe

My Program:
Week 1

1) Treadmill walk/jog 1 Hour (Night)

2) Weights on weekends

3) Weigh in on Wednesday

    I started the chair marching when I was working in a call center and at a computer for hours on end. Now I do them because I am not able to do much weight bearing on my left leg. It's simple. Hold your abs in tight and simply lift one foot at a time as if marching. Maybe they are more like Knee Lifts, but because I do one leg at a time it's marching in my book. I used to keep the count manually but time & practice allowed me to track how many steps I could march in a set amount of time and now I can just watch the clock and know that as long as I keep my marching steady, I get to 10,000 steps in 30 minutes. Sometimes I just march for a full 60 minutes but still just count it as 10,000. Good luck with it. People scoffed at me before but my legs are stronger, I am consistently losing weight AND inches, and my legs are in better shape than ever! Glad to be on the journey with you! Love, Dawn
