My name is Nicole. I just turned 36 in February. I've been trying to lose weight for years & never seem to fulfill what I set out to do. My father passed away a few years ago at 54 from heart disease and I'm worried I may be heading down the same path. It's no longer about getting skinnier, it's about getting to a healthy weight and maintaining it. My husband says that he'll jump on the healthy band wagon once I loose quite a bit of weight. So, I hope I can stick with this. Wish me luck! 😉

Fitness Minutes: 9,550

My Goals:
I'm trying to get down to a healthy weight.
I almost achieved it 8 years ago, but circumstances lead to me gaining it all back and them some. Currently I'm the heaviest I have ever been. By this time next year I'm hoping to be smaller than I've ever been and I'm positive I can do this. I have about 120 pounds to lose.

My Program:
I'm doing a combination of strength training with a couple days of cardio.
I joined a gym & I'm actually finding it very fun & relaxing to go to early in the morning.

Personal Information:
I was born and raised in West Virginia. I live in one of the bigger cities, but I was raised in a small country town. Sometimes I really miss being able to go outside and just walk through the woods.

Other Information:
Major bookworm. I love sci fi books. Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Mortal Instruments, Clockwork Princess, Vampire Chronicles, Southern Vampire Series, Stephen King. Although, with Stephen King I tend to like his non horror works better than the horror.
