Back for Round 2. Hoping for a Knockout
***Update - August 24th, 2016***
Still fat, still funny, this time with just a little different focus. I am the proud mommy to a COMPLETELY HEALTHY 13-month old little boy, the happy wife to a beautiful man named Derrell, and now the primary caretaker for my disable mother. The word of the day: STRESSED!

***Update - April 16th, 2014***
Life is crazy and so is weight loss! It is one of those things that if not closely monitored can become weight gain, and THAT is where I am at. I weigh in at a hefty 233.2 lbs today, 18 lbs above my lowest weight of 215 lbs. Why did I gain weight? I was tired of focusing on it, I am enjoying being a newlywed, I started eating treats and fast food and kept doing it, and I didn't work out as often. With that being said I am not disgusted. I am glad that I have the mindset to check it before it gets out of hand. And now I have a new goal: to get pregnant! My hubby and I have decided that when I release this 18 pounds of weight gain, that we will try for babies! So I am refocusing my efforts to regain my health and my fabulous jaw line by eating well and exercising more.
***Update - October 7th, 2013***
I am Mrs. Brown now!!!! YAAAYYY! I had every intention of being 200 lbs at this point in my journey. I have actually gained 7 lbs from my lowest weight of 215. I am disappointed but not discouraged. I am enjoying being a wife and I am regaining control of this wacky weight-loss train by joining Weight Watchers.
***UPDATE - May 24, 2013****
Well it has been one year and I have come a mighty long way! A year ago my initial goal was to get to 200 lbs by this date. Instead I chose to live a healthy AND happy life, focused on living while dieting and exercising. I managed to lose 56 lbs and for that I am very proud! There were times when I was discouraged with my progress, but I never quit. Every other attempt in my life, I quit at when it got too hard. This time I stuck it out and tried something else rather than quitting all together. I have had amazing support and I am looking forward to marrying the love of my life in a little over 3 months. At 216 lbs, I am hoping to step on the scale on my wedding day much closer to Onederland!
***UPDATE - Feb 16, 2013***
I have been at this weight loss journey for 9 months and have lost more weight than I ever had before. These 54 pounds feel like a 100 to me. It has freed me from so many health issues, given me more confidence and also made me EXTREMELY tired! I am trying to keep the momentum but with working a second job and preparing for my upcoming wedding, I am exhausted. I originally had a goal of 180 lbs (92 lbs loss) but at 218 I am comfortable with losing 20-25 more pounds and moving into maintenance. I hope to be at that maintenance point by my birthday of July 4th. Wish me luck!
**UPDATE - Oct 21, 2012***
It has been exactly five months since I got my spark back and jumped back on the weight loss rollercoaster. In these five months I have went from a 22W to a 14W and have lost 38 pounds. I have ran a race every month since July and I can now run 4 miles without stopping. I have finished my longest race, a 5-miler in 1:05:38. I am proud of that. Currently I am experiencing a three week plateau of no weight loss. I am disappointed but I am encouraged knowing that I still feel the spark inside. I am going to re-evaluate my current plan, switch up my routine and get tighter on my nutrition.

This is my second go around with Sparkpeople. The first time around I lost almost 50 pounds and gained a ton of confidence. Unfortunately I got comfortable and some issues from my past pushed me back to a place I didn't want to be. Food tagged along. I have worked through most of those issues and want to gain my confidence back for the second and hopefully last time. I turned 29 years old July 4th, 2012 and I intend to go into my 30's fit, fun, flirty, and fabulous!
