I now have 6 grandchildren and I want them to remember me as the "FUN" grandma. They and my hubby are some of my reasons for working so hard. But the main reason is me. I am not happy with all the meds and want to be fit again. I decided it was time to update my page have been in this a while, met my goal and didn't do well with maintenance. LOL! Came back and taking all the lessons I learned the first go around and adding new ones along the way took off the pounds again. I went over some of my old blogs and really have seen changes in me as well. I am more positive and the challenges I now face are because often I didn't take care of things a lot sooner.The kids are all grown and all have kids of their own. I don't want to be the grandma that sits and watches her soap operas all day, I want to be the "FUN" grandma. Nothing like playing like a kid to say farewell to all the pounds. I am learning to like breakfast and I do meditation and journal each night. I am determined and positive about my ability to succeed. After all I did it once and I have the entire Sparkpeople family to help with that. Totally into all the challenges to choose from and unlike that old dog, I can learn new tricks. I have issues with my back and that makes it hard some days to do all I want to do but I do what I can. I also have the knowledge that this is a journey not a race.. Small goals lead to bigger ones. Together we all can succeed!!!

My Goals:
Goals for 2019
1) Become independant
2) Maintain goal weight with monthly goals

January Goals
1) Strength train 6 days a week.
2) Steps to 5,000 a day with goal to reach 10K by summer.
3) Spend 10 min on "ME" time each day 6x a week and off on Sunday.
4)Do 30 minutes strength teaining according to schedule 6x a week
Only stretches and cardio on Sunday.

I am married to a wonderful man who tells me that I am his soulmate and supports me in whatever I want to do. He is so supportive and even does the walks with me. He is the reason I will succeed.
