Okay! Starting over, after getting some test results back.

I need to be on a low-fiber, low fructose diet. I can no longer run or do situps or crunches. No weight training. And I am not supposed to do more than 15 minutes of cardio a day.

Wow. Weight loss is going to be a challenge! I'm really, really going to have to watch my diet.

My Goals:
My main goal is to cultivate moderation, peace, health, and spirituality. I also want to get down to a normal BMI, and I would like to reach a goal weight of 140 pounds. At that weight, I would be a size 8 or 10. I want to look good and feel good in my clothes again! I want to achieve energy and endurance, core strength, improved sleep, and get my sexy bod back.


My Program:
Lose 42 pounds at a rate of about 2 pounds per week.

Weigh 140 pounds.

Be a size 10 (or 8?).

Heal my back (2 herniated discs).

Increase Core Strength.

Follow my new special diet.

Create a Home Yoga Program.

Walk 15 - 30 minutes per day.



Personal Information:
I have an allergy to fructose, Barretts Esophagus, 2 herniated discs in my lower back, stomach ulcers, a bile problem in my intestines following gallbladder surgery, irritable bowel syndrom, and ulcerative colitis. SO! It is really hard for me to follow my special diet and lose weight too! But I am determined to do it and to be healthy.


Other Information:
I am a total bookworm. I love spiritual books, Eastern philosophy, and good fiction. I am a huge fan of the author Echkart Tolle,". I am currently working on a master's degree in criminal justice and preparing for a PhD program in clinical psychology.

    I can really relate to you. Last year around this time I was 115 pounds and now I'm 150 pounds. I feel horrible about myself. I haven't wanted to go out much or have anyone over. I've been avoiding meeting any of my husbands coworkers because I feel embarrassed. I don't want to be D.J.'s "big fat wife". I use to feel so good about myself and now I don't have any self-control. I feel really discourage. I'm hoping this site will help me stay on track.
