I'm finding my inflammation is already decreasing with me eating mostly clean/whole foods. I've always suspected I've allowed sugar/white carbs to wreck havoc on my body and I'm finally feeling the difference of not eating that way again. Now I just need to stick to it.

I would love to have a situation like yours some day where I just work when I'm needed. Good for you!

I wish it was safe to walk outside in our neighborhood at night in the winter but its not with no sidewalks, icy roads and no street lights. So its either the treadmill or walking inside. The mall is so close that I can't believe I didn't think of it sooner.

We have Your Pie too. Blaze Pizza is a competitor. I like things that are different about both of them. The cauliflower crust is a big plus for me now at Blaze though.

I make my oatmeal in the microwave too but I have to use a full sized serving bowl rather than a typical 'cereal' sized bowl so it doesn't boil over. I put in 1/3 cup oatmeal and 2/3 cup water and cook it for 3 minutes. It turns out perfect. I'm sure steel cut are harder to cook though. Your breakfast sounds nummy too. I love oatmeal. DH likes the prepacked ones that he can just pour boiling water over. Sigh....can't get him to change - its quick and easy in the morning. I figure its better than other many other choices he could make though.

Way to go on your purging! Its so freeing and helps other people when we give what we don't need away to those in need.

I can't wait for you to open your senior rescue. They are so important. We have an amazing senior dog rescue in Montana and I'm one of their biggest fans. I help network for their dogs in need on facebook. The group is less than 5 years old and I can't believe how many senior dogs they have already saved and given dignified, loved experiences in their senior years. Sometimes only for a few months, others for years.
