Happy mom of two. Single. Retired from the military. Currently in grad school.

Over the past couple years I gained a lot of weight due to an unhealthy relationship. Now that I am free from my past, I am working on gaining my health back. It has been a journey of self-discovery and revelation.

I gained a lot of weight, so I have a long journey ahead of me to achieve optimal health, but I am committed and look forward to achieving my goal.

My Goals:
My weight goal is 130-140 pounds. My favorite weight for my body was 132 pounds. However, knowing that our bodies change as we get older, I am remaining flexible to my exact goal weight. I will know my goal weight once I have achieved it. I think it is not just about the number on the scale, but also how my clothes fit, and the state of my overall health.

My current goals are to work out twice a week, with one walk, in addition to my work outs. Another goal is to lose 1-2 pound(s) per week, each week.

My Program:
I do not have a specific program. I am just tracking the food I eat and am trying to watch my caloric and fat intake. I am starting with little steps. My first step is to track all my food. I think being cognizant of all my food will help me ultimately make better food choices. I am guilty of mindless eating, emotional eating, and social eating. I would like to start tracking all the food intake so I can help myself realize all the calories I am ingesting. I am also starting with little walks and barre work outs. I think these little changes will add up to big changes.

Personal Information:
I live in Olympia, Washington. I am a happy mother of two wonderful boys. I would like to get healthier to enjoy life with my children. I want to run with them, play with them, be present with them. The healthier I am the more present I can be with them. I want memories with my boys.

    I run.....
I'm slower than a herd of turtles,
    stampeding through peanut butter...
    But...I run

    ~~**==**~~**==**~~ANOTHER CHANCE~~**==***~~**==**~~

How often we wish for another chance to make a fresh beginning.
A chance to blot out our mistakes, and change failure into winning.
And it does not take a special time to make a brand-new start,
It only takes the deep desire to try with all our heart,
to live a little better, and to always be forgiving,
to add a little sunshine to the world in which we're living.
So never give up in despair and think that you are through.
For there's always a tomorrow And a chance to start anew.

Embrace your beautiful body. Show it love. Feed it well. Give it rest.
Move it often. Love every bump and lump . . . They tell the story of you.

This quote was sent to me by a very good friend CRAZYDOG, It's such a beautiful quote,
so I just had to share it with you.

Sometimes you fall before you fly.
    In my case...
I had to stumble through the dark,
fall on my face, and get up again,
.....Only to walk into the wall...
