Todays date is jan. 4 2017. I am 58 years old. My highest weight last year was 325 lbs. My last serious look is this year to look at my life and my health. I got inspired by a lady in womans world and internet. Her name is Rhonda Martin I thought if she can do it with lifestyle changes to lose 287 pounds so can i for 170 pounds. Like alot of dieters i have tried most. I have had councelling through the years dealing with quitting smoking and xanax/ativan addictions. I had a history of binge drinking when i was young I went to 2 treatment centres to deal with past issues. It was an eye opener. My only addiction and the hardest one out of all is being able to combat my eating addiction. My method is to track my food etc for the day in the sparkpeople app. It is better than fitness pal and easier quicker. I highly recommend it. I try to hover around 1740 to 1800 cal a day with 60 g carbs at each meal and 15 grams carbs per snack and actually eat 3 meals and 3 snacks a day. A bit better every day. I have started again near my highest of 324 pounds.My 1st week i have hone down to 319.8 My general goal is 2 pounds a week the healthy way. About 10 pounds per month I hope to lose 150 pounds on my bd end may of 2018. See my blog for further info. I look forward to staying positive and use food as fuel 80 percent of the time. Only eat for comfort on special occassions if that works. Exercise? Doing more around the house. Walk on land or walk away the pounds indoors or walk in pool starting at 5 min a day and qigong 7 min. A day. Will see..... stay tuned.
