Happily married. Love being at home and doing homey things. Have my own cleaning business. Love what I do. My cats are my children.
My husband is my best friend.
I actually have email in my spark mail account from 2009. So I have been around here for awhile. Lately though I have really started to be active on this website. I am actually starting to be able to find things and use them to my advantage.
About three months ago I started to go through the Spark Coaching program. I cannot say enough about how it has gotten me back on track.
Between 2015 and 2016 I lost over 90 pounds. I gained a few pounds back and didn't do anything about it right away. Now I am reactivating and losing those few pounds. What I find interesting is that I am really struggling with the last three pounds or so. Even more interesting is that my measurements with the exception of a couple of areas are almost identical.
I can only attribute that to the fact that I have started exercising every day! Before I was only doing yoga and sometimes Walk Away the pounds. Recently I bought Nicole from Spark Fit, Firm and Fired Up and 28 day Bootcamp. I did seven days of Fit Firm Fired ten minutes a day. To my surprise just like Chris Downie said, it led to more minutes each day. Exercise to me has always been like the plague. Not anymore. It is like breathing now!

I was not able to post last week due to babysitting my 2 grands.
So Here is the 3rd & 4th Installment of my October Poem -for last week & today.
    ♥ `*•.¸ ♥ `*•.¸ ♥ `*•.¸ ♥ `*•.¸♥ `*•.¸ ♥ `*•.¸ ♥ `*•.¸ ♥ `*•.¸ ♥ `*•.¸♥ `*•.¸
`*•.¸ `*•.¸ To my very strong and powerful friend`*•.¸`*•.¸
`*•.¸ `*•.¸ reading this message right now `*•.¸

If you really knew me you’d know I strive daily to stay strong.
You’d know that I’ve made a decision not to treat my body wrong.
If you really knew me you’d know each day I’m in a better place.
And that my desire to improve moves at a slow, but steady pace.

If you really knew me, you’d know I’m in a determined state of mind.
And I made the decision to leave the unhealthier version of myself behind.
If you really knew me, you’d know I’ve ditched all the negativity,
Now I keep my mind full of motivational thoughts of positivity.

If you really knew me, as I work on my mind’s creation,
My thoughts and my emotions serve to fuel this transformation.
If you really knew me, you’d see I need your encouragement and support,
To keep my focus on why I started, and not give up, or fall short.

If you really knew me, you’d know that I’m no quitter,
I am exercising every day to become healthier and fitter.
If you really knew me, I’m on a quest to find what hides inside,
I’m acquiring more confidence, and feeling more comfortable in my stride.

Thank you for stopping by my page! I did a lot of walking and exercise to get to the 90 minutes! I had sprained my ankle two months ago and still have heel pain so it was an accomplishment for me! Have a great Wednesday! emoticon emoticon Congratulations on losing 90 lbs! Now that is a huge accomplishment! emoticon emoticon June

    It’s Motivational Monday . . .

    • Nobody trips over mountains. It is the small pebble that causes you to stumble.
Pass all the pebbles in your path and you will find you have crossed the mountain.

    • If we are facing in the right direction, all we have to do is keep on walking.

    • The drops of rain make a hole in the stone not by violence but by oft falling.

    • The race is not always to the swift, but to those who keep on running.

    • The greatest oak was once a little nut who held its ground.

You know what you want - to lose weight, be healthy, and maintain what you have accomplished, but how you’re going to make that happen is the “adventure” in this journey. That’s the beauty of the peaks, AND the valleys. Bet I surprised you with that one! Both are invaluable for giving honest evaluation to where you are in any given moment. But always remember, even in the deepest valley you can always look up and see the peaks.

Be persistent, and have a successful week!
