Hello from Michigan! I am a happily retired person pursuing my passion of becoming an artist. I paint mostly landscapes and have been painting for about 4 years. I love cats and have 4 inside and 4 more that are outside cats that I feed and take care of, they bring me a lot of smiles and love!

My Goals:
I started my journey on January 7th, 2019 at 183 pounds (although I was up to 195 at one point). I was doing okay but after 6 months I stalled and just could not get beyond the 166 pound range, even with working out and treadmill walks 5 days a week. This is when I decided to look up Spark People again, I am glad I did. It gives me the added incentive to push just a tad harder and be just a little more cognitive of my eating habits! I am at 159 pounds right now with the ultimate goal of reaching 138 pounds and maintaining it for the rest of my life.
My Program:
Buns of Steel with Greg Smithey (52 minute workout, did for 7 months 5 days a week) and Treadmill Walk at 3.2 mph, incline at 4 for 32 minutes at least one time a day (sometimes twice) 5 days a week, statred May 1st. I took a break from BoS for a couple of months but will reinstate that routine M-W-F starting November 1st.
Personal Information:
I am 68 years old and have been in and out of fitness since in my 20's. I love God and all the wonders He has created. I like to read and play a game or two on my tablet, and LOVE to create art! My banner is some of the pictures I have painted. I love to putter around the yard in the summer with the cats and my wonderful husband.
