My journey with Spark People has been and will continue to be a very exciting one. As I learned to navigate my way around, I discovered so many helpful topics, which I read that gave me a wealth of information and knowledge. Teams to join, recipes to try, and so much more. I needed to lose weight. I did not promise myself to lose weight, as promises can be broken, instead I made a commitment to lose weight. I read members blogs on how they lost weight. Saying to myself, if they can do it, so can I." My new weight loss has taken 2 years. to lose. 81 lbs. Changing my eating habits, along with exercising made a big difference. I found what worked for me and stuck to it. I used what I learned to becoming a healthier me.

My first goal is losing weight. Since I have joined Spark People I have lost 81 pounds. My second goal is to exercise more on a daily routine. My third goal is to eat healthier for life.

I am on a 1200 calorie a day diet. Here I wrote some of my ways of my accomplishing this. 1. staying focused 2. direction 3. commitment 4. if I fall down seven times, I get up eight. 5. support from other members. 6. My name is: Paula M. Strasburg. I am married to the most wonderful man in the world, Wayne Allen Strasburg. We live in Boyd, WI. I have multiple disabilities, which are: I have severe copd, influenza, nerve and muscle damage, Fibromyalgia, Spinal Stenoses, atrophy, auropathy, narrowing of the spine, asthma, scoliosis, and diabeties. .

I write poetry and short stories. I enjoy reading, cooking and baking. I like country music, and old time movies. I like variety in my life, a choice of things to do. My favorite holiday is Christmas. I knit, crochet and sew. I believe in: Positive Thinking Encouraging others Making Changes
