July 2, 2016: Finished my first week with the Spirited Underdawg team as part of the Summer 5% Challenge.

June 2016: starting back over!

Sept. 2015: Starting the Fall 5% Challenge today. Glad to be back on the Daisy team. I have gained my weight back, but I am getting back on track and looking forward to the weight loss journey again. i am a stay at home mom and a homeschooling mom, so life is busy.

Jan. 2014 - I am getting ready to begin the Winter 5% Challenge. During the interim between challenges I had thyroid surgery (total thyroidectomy) and discovered it was thyroid cancer. Thankfully he got it all during the surgery. I am still recovering from this, so I will be setting manageable goals.

Exercise commitment - I will start with ten minutes a day and hopefully work up from there.

Nutrition plan - I will use the Spark nutrition tracker and try to stay within my daily calorie range.

Oct. 2013 - I am really enjoying Spark People. I have learned to set goals, have consistency and be part of a wonderful community. I am getting ready to start the Fall 5% Challenge and am looking forward to it.

June - 2013 I joined a while back but never really got started with the program. This time I am ready to do this. I owe it to myself to lose this weight and try to be as healthy as I can for me and for my family. Looking forward to going through this journey.
