IVANHOE64
Hello, Rico! I just saw your message from two months ago . . . yes, I admit, I haven't been on SP as much as I should have been! Yes, we get some pretty good birding down here in South Texas. There are always shrikes, mockingbirds, and killdeers on our church property, and recently I've seen quail. There's a nature preserve not far away where I like to go birding. I've seen painted buntings there many times.
Of course I'm going to recommend that you read "Ivanhoe"! It's an exciting book set in Merry Olde England in the Middle Ages. There's plenty of adventure and chivalry. It's a long book, but I've enjoyed it!

That's fantastic news. I'm so glad you found your dog, and he is well. Is your dog micro chipped? and registered on the web site? That's another good way to find a dog that gets lost. There are a lot of good people out there. Glad they posted your dog's picture. Oh, and I can't remember if I ever told you about our long leash we used for Henley. It's a retractable leash. You can set the leash short, or let it out all the way (a few feet) With Henley being a Bloodhound, we would never let him off leash. His nose would lead him to Sibera lol. Take a look and see if that would work for you and your dog. https://www.amazon.com/URPOWER-Retractab le-Ribbon-Button-Medium/dp/B01GG155H4/ ref=sr_1_3_sspa?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8 &qid=1517003163&sr=1-3-spons&keywords= retractable+dog+leash&psc=1&smid=A2ZDDMQJ755ULA
Hope your Son's dogs are ok in the long run. I agree, one has to be careful where you buy dogs these days. It's tough having kids. No wonder we get gray lol. Beans 685 days ago
