Becoming the Beautiful Maeghann both inside and out



I am probably the worst at doing the YO YO dieting. I do fantastic for a few months and then let everything else around me get in my way and I stop. I am sick of doing this!

I am a happily married wife and a mother of three beautiful children. My oldest boy is six years old. We welcomed our second child, a daughter in August 2015. I then lost a baby in December 2016 and gained 45 pounds . Then in February 2017 I decided it was time to get my butt into gear! lost 70 pounds and was down to 173 when I became pregnant again in August. Had my rainbow baby in May of 2018 and then had a lot of complications afterwards. I had a complete hysterectomy and some other repairs in October 2018. And found my way back to 199
So with the option of no longer getting pregnant and having my complete family it is really time to get back to work and focus on myself!
2019— I started powerlifting in March and love love love it
I lost 25 pounds in the year but have toned so much

I am not right about my lowest adult weight down the 70 pounds from three years ago! My goals for 2020 are to continue to tone and keep working towards losing a few more pounds and feeling comfortable!

I want to be able to wear shorts and feel comfortable and be able to take the little one to the pool and not be the chunky mom who doesn't want to wear a swimsuit!

I have everything that a person needs and WAY more.... EXCEPT MY SELF ESTEEM!! I have never not had that, but I am finding myself getting jealous of others when I look at them and then wishing that could be me, and you know what I know it could.. I just have to want it....

I am a DONE Girl I am going to list a few things I am absolutely DONE with:

1- I am DONE with feeling sorry for myself!

2- I am DONE thinking that when I walk in a room
everyone looks at me thinking "oh poor girl, she is
just not pretty and so big too"

3- I am DONE shopping for clothes to pick out a cute
item, grabbing a size that I think in my head will fit
and then when I try it on there is no way that size
will ever work and I have to get a bigger one.

4- I am DONE with not trying new things because I am
self-conscious that I will not look right doing it.

5- I am DONE not giving myself a fair chance at being
healthy only because I have never been thin and
think that can't ever be me.

6- I am DONE beating myself up if I go off the plan for
one little thing - this is a lifestyle change and not a
diet - I need to learn to live in the real world and
be able to enjoy myself - hell I only have one chance

7.- I am DONE dieting.. this is my new life... I am making changes for the long term.

8- I am DONE waking up in a sad mood because of what is going on around me... I am the only one who can control my happiness.. I can't wait around to be happy I need to make it happen now!

9 - I am DONE taking anything that is said about weight around me as something that is being directed to me... I mean people can think what they want of themselves and not mean anything about me by it.. (I was really bad about that)

10- I am DONE feeling and acting older than I truly am... Maeg you gotta live your life, you are young, beautiful and full of energy!

There is a start of the DONE list and I am so sure that there are way more... I am so DONE and glad that I am here now and ready to make my life so much better!!!

Now let me state some things that I am starting after being DONE:

STARTING to feeling happier and prouder of myself.

STARTING to do positive things for myself.

STARTING to eat properly.

STARTING to be happy with my reflection.

STARTING to see the beautiful person God made, he made no mistakes.

STARTING to buy new smaller clothes.

STARTING to love how I look in a certain outfits.

STARTING to be the happy person my family loves.

STARTING to be a good friend.

STARTING to feel good inside, so it shows on the outside.

STARTING to not worry so much what others think about my outside appearance.

STARTING to be happy to see people I haven't seen so I can catch up on old times, and they can tell me how great I look!

STARTING to have new energy for life!

STARTING to eat for life, and living for life! My life!

DONE+START= Fantastic new NEW healthy magnificent hot me!!!!

My Momma says : ** Often SMILE.............LAUGH a lot................. and EAT a little cake**

Fitness Minutes: 67,175

My Goals:
Trying to lose 2 lbs a week, by watching calories and staying active.

I would like to fit back into my clothes and also be able to wear a size 8. I would love to be able to wear shorts in the summer and maybe even a fun golf skirt!

My Program:
Pre-planning my meals so there is less temptation. Being smart about what I put into my body and trying to take life for what it is and enjoy it....

Following a weight watchers type of plan. I am not paying for it but I did last year before I became pregnant.
I started really watching my simple carbohydrates intake and stuck with more complex ones - kept to eating lots of lean protein and tons of freggies!!

Personal Information:
I am just from a small town, totally land locked right in the center of the US, but I wouldn't change a thing about it :) I have realized that things in life do not work out as planned and you have to live one day at a time.

I am so thankful for everything that I have been blessed with and look forward to watching my son and daughter grow. I want to be able to be active with them and my husband.

Other Information:
I love all types of music and I love to dance. My husband and I love to golf and lift weights!. We enjoy taking our family camping and on road trips. I have found a love of cooking during this journey and love to make new recipes. I love to watch my kiddos grow and we do any and every activity that we can. Enjoy going places and doing things and am thankful that I can finally feel comfortable!
