Introduction Text The past few years have been busy. I lost my momentum, but didn't lose all the ground I'd gained. I'm hanging in at 40 pounds below my max weight, but haven't lost anything for a long time. I'm ready to tackle those last 25 pounds.

I want to feel good when I am old; and I want to get very old.

1. Eating whole grains, fruits, and veggies. 2. Starting dinner with a huge salad. 3. Using smaller plates. 4. Working out 2-3 times a week for strength training. 5. Walking daily.

I live in South Central Pennsylvania with my husband. I have two grown children. DD lives with me while between jobs. DS is across the country, in CO. I also have a bonus daughter who needed a safe place to stay and has become part of our family. And my mother is currently staying with me while adjusting to some unexpected medical issues.

Before being a Mom, I was a mathematician. I love to learn and spend what free time I have perusing my old textbooks or taking online courses.
