Hi there! :) I am excited to be here and super excited to lose all this weight that I've had on me since 2001. I was a cute girl who got buried in fat. I hate life being overweight and I need to do something about it. When I first got pregnant I weighed 107 pounds. After the birth of my first son at age 18, I weighed 123 pounds. After the birth of my second son at age 20, I weighed 140 pounds. When I had my third son at age 21, I weighed 167 pounds. Since then life has thrown some heavy personal blows and I medicated the pain with food and apathy. I went from being extremely and competitively active to lazy. I drank big cokes, took care of my family, and never gave any thought to taking care of me. I blew up and when I actually took the time to study myself in the mirror, I was shocked at the 202 pound reflection.
I tear up any photos of myself and never want to go to many public places. Because our family does a lot of fun activities, I still am in the public a lot, and I walk everywhere with embarrassment and shame. My weight is always on my mind and it is greatly affecting the quality of my life. I have made a slow effort to lose weight at the start of this year. But now I need to step it up, really push myself, and tackle this demon for good.
So, that brings me here. To the great world of SparkPeople that I have heard so much about. :) I have already lost 23 pounds before coming here and I'm ready to shed the rest while surrounded by the supportive people here!

I am 25 years old with three beautiful little boys and an amazing husband. I love my family!

I just finished my second Isagenix cleanse on Jan 24th. See blog for details

Right now, I am at beginning Week 0 of 10 of the ONE HOUR RUN training program.

I am also doing a 4 week Ab Bootcamp that is killing me!

I JUST completed the 9 week Couch to 5K plan and it was AWESOME! I can't explain the amazing way it made me feel!

Also, I completed my first 12 week Body for Life Challenge on October 1st. It went GREAT! I am now finished and ready for the next one. :) I lost 20 pounds in the first one.

I recently completed the controversial Isagenix cleanse with great results! See blog for details on those 11 days.

    I was very impressed to read that you are exercising because that tells me you are serious and committed to your goal. It is also an indicator of someone who is adopting a healthy lifestyle. I am also RELIEVED that once this cleanse is over, you will be practicing the principles of Body For Life. Because you exercise and are training for a race, your body NEEDS nutritious food and FUEL! Running is a passion of mine; I enjoy it and love the physical and psychological benefits of it. It certainly was a key component of my weight loss journey.

Yes, i did and i'm sorry i havent answered it yet... i havent been on too too much and i just always forget to answer messages.. i'm sorry :(. I will answer it soon though... i just only have internet at work, and with the holidays and being gone all the work has been backed up and i havent had much of a chance to get on and respond.. i wish i had it at home but i managed to break my computer at home..rrrr. anyway.. hope you had a happy new year and thankyou so much for the compliments :). I'm on a friends computer right now at a holiday get together.. and oh my gosh i feel like a bloated fish from the party last night, lol.     Hi there :)... thank you for the sweet comment on my page... I love the encouragement I get from this website. It really helps me out and I'm sure it will too. You can absolutely do this and this website is very helpful. It helped me squash allot of myths about weight loss I thought were true and finally bust thru my plateau and lose that final 10 to finally lose the total 50 and hit my goal weight I never thought I could :). Really nice to meet you and I wish you the best of luck! Thanks for adding me!
