2/6/10 I know what to do, I just don't practice what I preach. After being 50 pounds overweight for several years, I hope this is the last time I have to cringe when I step on the scales. This site is so motivational. I look forward to 2010 and reaching my goal in 2011.

4/24/10 I have reached my first major goal and that was to lose down to 170. WhoHoo!! Even with my yo yo dieting over the last 30 years, I have only been below 170 on one or two occasions and not for long. Now I feel that I am beginning my true journey. To go below 170 and maintain it will definitely be a major goal for me.

12/29/10 This is my new year. In 2010 I lost 25 pounds then I slipped back into my old eating habits and not exercising and have regained most of what I lost. I let my hectic schedule get in the way. I forgot about me. I forgot how good I felt when I finished exercising. I used everything as an excuse.

I miss the looks from my friends that I got with my weight loss. I miss the way I felt. I miss the lower blood pressure. I miss the agility that I had gained from exercising. 25 pounds is only half of what I needed to lose. Can't imagine what it will be when I finally reach my goal of 50 pounds!

This is my new year. New committments. Forgiveness. New lifestyle. Changes for the good. My new year starts today.

My Goals:
My main goal is to reach a healthy weight. While on that journey, I hope to develop a healthier lifestyle in food choices and fitness.

My Program:
I am keeping a daily journal of the foods I eat. My daily goal is to begin an exercise program slowly so I don't injure myself, then build up to a daily exercise routine.

Personal Information:
My name is Pat and I live in Philipsburg, MT, a reinvented mining town. We moved here in the summer of 2014 and we love it. Our business is great and we are busy, busy.

Other Information:
I am a potter and spend most of my days working in my studio making pottery for our retail shop.

    Thank you for visiting my blog. And yes, the author of those sayings said it was a take on Murphy's Law. Not sure that relates to where you are from, but nice to find someone from my neck of NC. Most other members on SP are from the eastern part of the state.

    Again, have a good time and take it a day at a time and develop some new health habits.
