After looking at the other profile pic last week, I realized how drained I looked with that dark hair. I am going to brighten my look, and my attitude.
So far, this new hair color is giving me lift!

That is very interesting about the raw milk yogurt. I have always thought that a good yogurt couldn't actually be made from raw milk because the (wonderful) bacteria that is naturally occurring in the milk interrupted the growth of the bacteria needed for the yogurt to develop. Could be there's been some improvement in yogurt cultures since I've had my information. I do love a well made yogurt. The best brand out here is Straus. It's better in flavor and texture than what I have made for myself. Glad to know that you love raw milk!! 4274 days ago

Thanks for the comment. I used to have a dairy goat but because of other lifestyle issues she just didn't fit in. I really tried to make it work and we absolutely LOVED the fresh, raw milk. I finally had to give her to a homeschooling family that really needed her 'cuz a couple of their kids (human, that is) were sensitive to cow's milk. I suspect, as is the case most of the time that it isn't really cow's , milk that is the culprit but PASTEURIZED cow's milk that is the problem.
I now have 2 sources for my raw milk in our neighborhood; one cow and one goat and I use both. Raw milk is the only way to go as far as I know. Are you familiar with the p milk/r milk controversy? If you don't and are interested I have lots of sources for you to look at.
I still have 2 caprine pets that are so, so sweet. 4274 days ago

thanks for the goodie and the note. To answer your question? My name is Annie. I had a baby goat once that I named "Thistle" from a character in a George McDonald book. (Actually it was twin baby girl goats that I named "Thistle 1" and "Thistle 2" cause I knew when they were born that I would sell at least one of them and their new owners would re-name them anyway...one of them is presently owned by a friend and her name is still "Thistle") I've always loved that name for some reason. The other one was bought by a stranger. When I was choosing my ticker icon my eyes just landed on that cute little duck and, well, the whole silly thing just came together 4275 days ago
