I realize and accept that I have been defeating myself with the food choices I have made and the choice to be inactive physically. Instead of continuing those self-defeating behaviors, I am starting a journey to become my own best friend and champion -- for life. You love a best friend, you care for and nurture a best friend. That, I believe, is the anwer to reaching my goal weight and fitness level, and it is the key to the elusive happiness I have been seeking. So, it's taken me 62 years to finally figure it out. That's okay, because I am going to spend the rest of my life enjoying every single day to the extreme. I can, and I will.

Fitness Minutes: 13,446

My Goals:
To be fit and energetic.

To be at the most healthy weight for my age and bone structure.

To make choices each day that contribute to my health, happiness and longevity, not detract from it.

To start stretching and meditation or relaxation programs that I will stick with!

To feel good about my body again.

My Program:
1. To aim for at least 30 minutes of cardio each day, but to at least get 10 minutes each day.

2. Log in my nutrition and exercise each day.

3. Work out with weights or do other resistance training three times each week.

4. Stretch regularly for optimum health.

Personal Information:
I am a lifelong Seattle resident. I love this city!! I have two grown children, and I care for my mother who is 95. I work in a law firm for 2 attorneys and manage the office.

Other Information:
I love to garden, to cook, to crochet, to walk, to play board games, to hang out with friends, to read, to travel. I love tea. My hometown is the birthplace of Starbucks, but I have never had a single taste of coffee. Go figure!!
