Life might be more fun with someone else but I have to admit I have had a blast going solo. The freedom, the ability to move and discover new places and find new friends has been wonderful.
Now, settled with an aging parent for a while I can look back to the good times, look at the good I can do in the present, and work a plan for the future which includes taking good care of myself. It's the hardest job I have ever had, with frequent interruptions and demands on my attention ...
Life might be more fun with someone else but I have to admit I have had a blast going solo. The freedom, the ability to move and discover new places and find new friends has been wonderful.
Now, settled with an aging parent for a while I can look back to the good times, look at the good I can do in the present, and work a plan for the future which includes taking good care of myself. It's the hardest job I have ever had, with frequent interruptions and demands on my attention and time. I blew up some 30 lbs somewhere in the process and that has to be the first to go!
I am running this solo and it takes all of my heart strength and mind to keep my parent balanced and me stable enough not to jump off a bridge.

My Goals:
getting fit, minding what I eat.
lost 20, have more to go!
Keepin' on keepin' on... at least 10 minutes every day, and minimum 30 cardio 4 times a week.
Drink 8 glasses of water daily
My Program:
I have a fitness center and elliptical at my disposal, and plenty of wonderful places to walk. I work out mostly just before bedtime, as it is the best time for me to settle down finally and think of me for a while.
