I have fallen off the wagon but I am trying to climb my way back up the ladder. So stupid to let my depression drag me back where I started. But I am trying again starting with this team. I am glad this is a place you can come to for support!

My Goals:
My goals are pretty much the same as before. Only now I am a year older. my main goal is to build up my strength and stamina. I am 69 ( or will be on Jan. 26th and have many family members that I want to see grow up. I intend to be able to take care of myself and not have to have others do for me. My short term goal is to lose 1 pound a week. Very doable.


My Program:
I INTEND TO STAY AWAY FROM JUNK FOOD. I COULD LIVE ON JUNK FOOD ALONE. AS A MATTER OF FACT THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I HAVE BEEN DOING MY WHOLE ADULT LIFE. WHICH IS WHY I AM SEARCHING FOR A BETTER WAY. I have such a hard time because I still eat like a child. I don't like very many vegetables.



Personal Information:
MY NAME IS LIZ. I LIVE IN TRINITY,NC. I WAS RAISED IN CLEVELAND,OH I AM 68 YEARS OLD. I AM HAPPILY MARRIED. I HAVE 4 GROWN CHILDREN. 10 GRANDCHILDREN AND 7 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN. I am retired (re-tired from helping with all these children--and loving it)

I LOVE TO READ. MY FAVORITE AUTHORS TO NAME A FEW ARE JAMES PATTERSON AND IRIS JOHANSON AND MARIAH STEWART I ALSO LIKE THE MYSTERY SHOWS ON TV. CRIMINAL MINDS, BLUE BLOODS,
I have a hard time since I wasn't always fighting this battle. It all seemed to start in 1989. I turned 40, I quit smoking and my husband of 22 years past away. Too much all at once. I didn't even try to start fighting it until the last few years. I am not winning! This year I will at least make a huge dent. I will never be back to 120 but I will be perfectly happy with 175. I have tried so many ways to diet and nothing seems to work. I don't go to the doctor often but I have never been diagnosed with diabetes or thyroid problems but I really think there is something going on that I am not aware of. Even when I am eating perfectly I lose weight very very slowly.
