Another 5% challenge is coming to an end tomorrow when we do our final Saturday weigh-in and I hope you have been successful in reaching your goals. But, if not, keep living your healthy lifestyle with good nutrition and exercise and you will eventually see results as your body makes its adjustments. Remember about the in-between challenge that starts tomorrow on Saturday. It is a good way to stay on track and maybe even lose another pound or two. Also, I hope to see you in a couple of weeks next time at the Fall 5% Challenge with the Rowdy Rebels team.
Best wishes & stay well as we continue our journey.
Wanting to refocus this Fall? The BL Challenge is there for you! We have ten teams that compete with each other in Fitness and Nutrition Challenges designed to promote positive lifestyle changes, and of course weight loss. There are different challenges each week for the duration of the challenge. Support and encouragement are a important aspect of the smaller individual teams. The larger team also gives you a chance to congratulate and get to know members from other teams. After all we are all in this together and together we are stronger. To join the challenge you can click on my username and then either click on the Blue Biggest Loser Icon, or leave me a message, or use this URL https://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/groups _individual.asp?gid=25339 or use the search and search for “Biggest Loser Summer Challenge ALL Teams”. YOUNG-AT-HEART We all have our ups & downs when we do our weekly weigh-ins. Here is something to think about...
“Instead of letting the scale alone determine whether you're a success or failure, use more reliable measures to determine your progress. My philosophy is that weight loss is not a goal, but the result of healthy habits like a better diet and regular exercise. When you do step on the scale and don't see the reading you had hoped for, ask yourself these questions: Am I doing what I am supposed to be doing? Am I making healthy food choices most of the time? Am I exercising consistently? If you are, then trust that your body is making positive changes, and the results will come. If you are not, then resolve to be consistent in healthy behaviors to see the results you want.” ~~~ Received this thoughtful info from KRYs210...excellent advice!!

YOUNG-AT-HEART Imagine that day where you can finally say I did it! When you can say, I never gave up, I never quit! Imagine that day when you win that gold medal, or reach your goal weight. Where these moments of pain turn into memories for that goal you wanted to obtain. It might take long to reach that moment, but as soon as you get there you’ll thank yourself for the rest of your life. 236 days ago
