Fitness Minutes: 45,931

My Goals:
Lose 10-15 pounds and keep them off. I don't want to loose the muscle I've managed to put on over the years, I'd just like to see it again

Increase my energy levels

LEARN! I need to see what I'm doing, wrong and right and fix the stuff that needs fixing.

My Program:
1. Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day

2. Track my calories and be honest with myself when I go over!

3. Track my exercise

4. Be honest with myself about what I'm putting in my mouth

5. Not be afraid to reach out for support when I need it.

Personal Information:
I'm from NY and work in Midtown Manhattan although I live in the suburbs. I'm married with no kids. I do have two pet parrots however who talk back like 3 year olds. We also have the most wonderful dog who is a retired bomb sniffing dog.

I grew up studying ballet so movement was always a part of my life. My father became a yoga instructer long before it was "cool" so yoga feels like a lifetime companion. I'm a big believer in meditation and alternative medicine balanced with typical gym workouts. I studied Tae Kwon Do for several years until my back gave out during my black belt test and I had to find other exercise options. I still throw a few kicks and punches but at least I don't take anymore blows.

Other Information:
I'm a bookworm who's thankful for my train commute which gives me time to read. I love to travel and wish I had more time and money to do it. I like to get out and hike when I can with my husband.
