RJ~A New Way...of thinking, doing, and being.
I savor the process I'm in at this stage of my life. I was tiny until my 30s, then the weight crept up. After cancer and chemo, I packed on another 20 pounds. Thirteen years later, I'm in the process of becoming truly healthy and fit. For the first time in a very long time, I'm really enjoying the journey and excited about what the future may hold!

My Goals:
My two main goals are to achieve a healthy weight by developing a healthy lifestyle, disciplining myself to exercise regularly and eat mindfully; and to become physically fit and toned.
My Program:
My program is based on moderate but consistent exercise, including Curves Smart 3 or 4 times per week and exercise DVDs, yoga, and weight training. I am trying to combine increased physical activity with more mindful and healthful eating.
Personal Information:
Originally a GA girl, I moved to NC over 30 years ago. I have since become a die-hard UNC Tarheel fan. I have two sons and one daughter, one beautiful granddaughter, and four "four-footed kids" who live with me. Tigger, Munchkin, and Dottie are my daughter's cats, but have never managed to leave my home. Lol, at this point, I wouldn't know what to do if she took them away! We also have a "pound puppy" my son adopted last year to complete our clan.
Other Information:
I look forward to managing my time effectively and making self-care a priority in my lifestyle changes.
