When you join a Spark Group you will have clicked on the box that says Join this Group. A white page will then come up with 3 options. You are suppose to check which boxes apply.
Email me whenever a new member joins
email me when a new post is created
    email me weekly group updates

    OR SOMETHING CLOSE TO THAT??????

You will receive emails according to which ever boxes you have checked.

You will receive an email notifying you if someone has sent you SparkMail. You then must click on the link to go to your SparkMailbox. From there you open your mailbox and click on the "mail".

I will send you spark mail so you can see and I will post this on your page just in case you have trouble finding it.

It really is pretty simple - once you get it figured out. If does get frustrating at first though.- Cissy

Forgive me if this is not the info for which you were asking?? Please feel free to Delete.

Just finished reading your posts on our team...I wanted to cry for you. I am so happy that you have faith, it's so import. Faith will help you get through anything. Taking a bite out of treats is the way to go, that way you don't feel as deprived.
I'm glad that you have found Sparks and our team...We are very supportive group. You have already added ENUFF as a friend...you couldn't have picked a better on...she is so supportive and has great ideas that will help you. As a matter of fact all of us do.
Post when you need to. sometimes it just helps to get it out and on paper, whoops I mean the computer.
If I can help you too, I stand ready and welling to do so.
So therefore I am adding you as a friend and hope you do the same for me...We'll be on this journey together.

Rotties and California!! You have warmth and furbabies on your side, emoticon

We are lucky to have you on our team. You are making such awesome progress already. You will help yourself to have successful surgery and to feel better in so many ways. You can do this.

I am a basset hound person--2 of our 4 dogs are hounds, one is a pug and the other is a doxielab (funny guy!!) I have another friend here on SP who has a statement about having a good dog will help us to get by and I really agree. I am waiting for the day that I get to walk my girls. My goal is this summer. We have a herd of other little animals--rats and rodents and guinea pigs and rescued kitties, never a horse though. My husband once had horses and his sister still does. My disabled son used to ride in a therapeutic riding program which was wonderful for him. I think I may have gotten to go horseback riding once when I was in junior high--I remember it being so hard to get on the animal and how I worried about being so heavy and too hard on it. I would love another chance to try, maybe I'll consider that a new goal further down the road. I have a lot of goals for now and I don't want to lose sight of the realistic or my priorities. First thing first.

I hope that you enjoy SP and we help you to get where you are going. I had back and knee surgeries. I can promise you that the surgeries on my knees (replacements) were the best thing I ever did. It is so good not to have all of the different kinds of pain in my knees that I had constantly. Now, my knees don't give out from under me or lock up or make me fall down stairs. What a great relief. I am sure you are excited to think about all of this. You will do what you need to in order to have a successful procedure and become more mobile.

    Best of luck!!
    Sylvia

PS--I mentioned how I have furbabies, but there is little warmth here in Illinois or in any state anywhere near us right now. At 54 and with arthritis and the rest, this awful cold--it's not made it to the teens much since before New Year's Eve and last week's snow is turning me into an incredible recluse. I know you have cloudiness, fog and rain--and that the rainy stuff can also inflict pain, but I'd join you in less than a heartbeat!! Thanks for adding me as one of your SparkFriends! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
