Long story short a couple of weeks ago I got on the scale and I was 12 lbs shy of 300. AND I'm 5'1". I honestly don't know how to dress this body so I wear tunics and until recently leggings...but I noticed I have these unsightly new bulges on the inside of my knees. So I'm back to stretch denim pants.

I'm tired of going into turbo cleaning mode anytime I'm expecting company and I won't go into what happens when unexpected company appears!

I'm a closet smoker. I'm tired of hiding it, I'm tired of cleaning up after it and I"m tired of how it effects my health.

It's time for some lifestyle changes.

3. Get off my A$$ and move around. Do something-ANYTHING-that engages more body parts than your eyes and fingers. FitBit Daily Goal -3000 daily step to start- 5000 daily steps by Leap Day 2020

4. Shed 10 lbs by the end of Leap Day 2020.

My Program:

3. Wear the darn FitBit!
4. WW Online- Work the Blue Plan

Personal Information:
I'm a Boomer, born right smack dab in the middle of the Boom. I'm also married, retired and socially awkward. My family includes One son and 7 grandkids (6 girls 1 boy) 3 great grandkids (a girl and 2 boys). I grew up in small-town Iowa, lived 20+ years in Chicago and have recently settled in Southwestern Michigan.

Other Information:
Fun Facts!

I have a love-hate relationship with cigarettes, oreos and exercise.

I enjoy a good cup of coffee, being a Grandma and leisurely car rides with no specific destination.

I'm not a fan of snakes, bending over to tie my shoes (really bending over in general) and gory movies.

My hobbies include researching diets and exercise programs, determine what equipment and/or products would allow one to reap the most benefits from said programs followed by purchasing the items and ignoring their existence (too much work to use) or not making the purchases then resigning myself to failure because I don't have access to what is needed.

I am also a proficient excuse maker,( see above example) highly skilled in art of procrastination and quite adept in turning concern for my well being into being unsupportive and belittling my situation.

'The Big Reveal' isn't that big a thing in terms of the actual story. It's just a moment in the film that kind of possibly takes you by surprise whereas you know from the beginning in the book. I could post a youtube link if you wish. Or you can search it under 'juicy fruit scene'.............

Thank you for stopping by my page. I added fiber to my nutrition tracker. The recommended amount is 25-30 and after tracking but I never even made 20. Fiber supplements like Metamucil suggested 6 per day but I only need 4. They really do help with hunger especially in the evening. Worth a try.

Totally get the fear of watching the TV series for fear of ruining the books. I'm a reader not a TV person. I've only ever came across one exception. One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest. I saw the film before I read the book and was glad overall - but only because of one wonderful moment in the film when something is revealed which you know from the start in the book.

Google is our friend! I really enjoyed the books as did my children who were teenagers at the time. Seemingly the BBC have made a TV adaption which I'm told is very good. Haven't watched it myself though.
