Hi - my name is Steph. I’m back on SP after years away. I had maintained a healthy lifestyle for several years, but then I started having health problems. Four surgeries and three and a half years later, I’m ready to get me back! My most recent surgery was to correct the alignment of my knee, so the doctors had to break my shin. Currently I’m walking with crutches at 8 weeks after surgery. I’ve been in PT for five weeks and decided there is no time like the present to start working on myself again. While I’m currently limited in mobility, I’m very motivated to do what I can to help my rehab. My goal is to have established a healthier lifestyle by the time I should be “back to normal” from surgery (around July).

My Goals:
I would like to lose 60-70 lbs. I basically want to be healthier for both myself and for my family!

Short-term Lifestyle Goals:
1. Do not take seconds at meal time.
2. Watch food portions.
3. Reduce fat intake.

10 lbs. by 2/14
(Update: 10.8 lbs. on 2/12)
25 lbs. by 4/2


My Program:
1.Consume proper amount of calories each day.
2. Complete strength training and cardio workouts at least 3 times per week.



Personal Information:
I live in Pennsylvania.

I am 33 years old.

I have been married for 12 years.

I have three daughters (ages 5, 3 1/2, and 1 1/2).

I teach chemistry.

I am actively involved in my church.

I play the flute.
