Introduction Text Right now I am a work in progress and I am looking forward to seeing the finished product. I moved in with my mom ( a widow ) 8 yrs ago. It was easier to take care of one house instead of two. My mom is in her early 80's and was diagnosed with Alzheimers in 2010. My only children are four footed and furry. Cara, my cat, is 10 and Mocha, my dog, just turned 1. I am active in my church and my mom is teaching me her pie making tricks for our church bazaar. She is forgetting so wants to make sure I can do it.

My name is Deb, I am in my 50's. I quit smoking April 2007 after 34 years as a smoker. I was an MP in the Marines for 4 years and in civilian law enforcement for 3 years. I started working in retail in 1983 and started for Walmart in 1990 and am still there.

Love to read and mainly read sci-fi and fantasy. Like to do counted cross stitch but sometimes the arthritis stops that. Enjoy spending time working in the flower beds.
