Hello! I am a happily married 34 (gasp!) year old. We had our first child, Curtis, in May of 2006. However he was stillborn when I was 40 weeks pregnant, one day away from his due date. It was an accident with his umbilical cord. This loss has devastated my life and I have turned to food to deal with my grief. I have always had weight issues, however. I got pregnant again and gave birth to my beautiful daughter, who was SCREAMING, in November of 2007. I lost 30 pounds after her birth. I gained back about 10 and got pregnant with my next child. He was born in November of 2009 (screaming, again!). I lost some of the weight, but am not practicing any good habits and am still over weight. I need to get healthy again both in mind and body. I want to be a good example for my kids. I have spent my whole life binging on processed junk food. I want to eat healthy food, I want to cook.
I have done WW numerous times in the past, but really need to focus on eating healthy. Clean eating will be a MAJOR undertaking for me as I have never been a big fruit or veggie eater, but I need to change my habits AND mindset!
