10/26/2013 UPDATE
Ok so here I am starting over again......Well actually I started over again 5/3/13 on a program designed by my Dr. I had gained back all of my 60lbs lost as well as a few more. My starting weight on 5/3/13 was 342.2. The highest I have ever been. After the first 10 days of the program I was down 14.4 lbs and 9 inches. At day 51 down 25 lbs and 18.5 inches total. At day 100 I was down 32lbs and a total of 15 inches. I was down 38lbs but am back up 10 and have been gaining and losing the same 10 lbs for 2 months now. I decided this week I am starting the whole 100 days over. I hope to jumpstart the weight loss again.

Here's to REACHING my GOAL in 2014.

It has been quite some time since I last updated my page. I got my personal trainers certification in May 2010. I am essentially starting over again. I have gained back 36 of the 56lbs I lost. I am back to tracking my food. Keeping an eye on my sodium intake. Even though I don't use a salt shaker as of 1/14/2008 there are days when I still have way over the 2300mg so really need to focus on that. I am really going to try and journal daily. It really helped me stay on track and focused in the beginning so am hopeful it will help me get back on track.

Well since my 2 year sparkiversary is tomorrow(1-14-2010) I thought I would update my page. 2009 was not a great year for me. I struggled to get rid of 7lbs putting me at 269 only to gain them back. I started weight training in the summer. I love it. I really love the muscles that are developing in my arms and legs. I did drop my body fat % from 41% to 35% so am very please with that. Now if I can just get the scale moving in the right direction again and the inches coming off.

I have 4 gaIs have been working out with. They are awesome. I am slowly working back up to the 4 miles /day on the elliptical that I was up to in September. I am back to tracking food and exercise on SP so hopefully that will keep me on track. I truly want 2010 to be the LAST year I am over weight.

My friend Courtney posted a list on her page of small success and I thought it was a good idea so am posting my list here....

Small Successes so far....
1. Done with 33 Inches
2. Done with 55.4 lbs.
3. Gone from size 30/32 to 18/20 in Pants and 22/24 in tops...16 here I come
4. Lowered BMI 9.1 points
5. Gained friends, confindence, and ENERGY

I am ready to make a change in my life and get my weight under control and start loving myself again. I am tired of being heavy and letting my weight keep me from doing the things I love.

I have been struggling with my weight since I was 23, I am tired of struggling and want to get my life back. I am a uterine cancer survivor and that right there should be the motivation I need to do this, but I still need help staying focused and motivated and on track. I am hoping to make lots of life long friends here as we begin on this journey of better health together.

I am self employed. I make Bath & Body products. I also decorate cakes and while recovering from my cancer surgery I started making jewelery as I couldn't lift for 8 weeks. I love making jewelry it relaxes me.
I also do quite a bit of graphic design work including, website and logo design. I spend at least 40+ hours a week on the computer. So sparkpeople seems like a great fit for me.

-10,000 steps daily(land and pool combined)

- Strength training for 30 minutes 3-5 times a week.

- Eat breakfast everyday and healthy snacks between meals to regulate my metabolism.

- take my vitamins and omegas every day.
