Staying the Course...


My name is Sharon and I'm 48 years young. I live in NC and am happily married for 20 years. I have lost 40 lbs. I never thought I would get to my goal weight.... but with persistance and a lot of life changes I have finally achieved my goal. I thank God for giving me the patience it took to lose the weight, because it doesn't happen overnight.... and self control - you need it - pray for it and he'll deliver! Fitness Minutes: 22,881

My Goals:
I want to stay at or below my goal weight of 135. I will increase or decrease my exercise weekly based on my weight.

I will make this lifestyle a priority in order to maintain what I lost.



My Program:
 Staying with a healthy food plan and eating all food groups within the correct nutritional range keeps me feeling good and strong. Exercise is a must! Both areobic and strength trainning must take place. I go to Planet Fitness 5 days a week and workout 90 min.
45 min on Arc Trainer for areobic and I weight train upper and lower body on alternate days. It Works!


Personal Information:
! I finally feel good about my lifestyle change.
I pray a lot and Rely on my Faith in God and thankful I have Jesus in my life! I'm so thankful for the joy and all the blessings in my life! He is an AWESOME GOD!!

Other Information:
 I'm a constant reader! I read every day or night and enjoy all type of books.
I go to church on Sunday and look forward to the fellowship. I thank God for all the blessings in my life and for giving me the self-discipline it takes to stay in shape.

    Hey girl! This is Bonnie in Virginia. I, too, have been MIA with spark. I miss all my buddies, but honestly I just got tired of all the tracking. Hope your family member, Kevin, is doing okay. I still put him in my prayers every so often, but I am not sure of his current status. The twins turn 1 next month. Hard to believe they have been here a year. The other 5 Grandkids are also growing up. One is getting his "learner's" pretty soon. That is a scary thought. I have been doing okay with my weight. Up and down 4 lbs, but honestly, Spark has helped me so much to understand how to manage it better. I plan to check in every so often and log my meals just to make sure I am not eating too much. The best thought that I have is that I am no longer on a diet. Just a healthy eating plan! That provides me great mental relief believe it or not.
